(c) (3 and 4) Periportal echogenicity highly suggestive of hepatic sarcoid. ( 5 and 6) Axial CT scans in arterial and portal venous phase show no abnormality. An ultrasound-guided biopsy revealed non-caseating granulomas confirming the diagnosis of hepatic sarcoidosis. Note that the spleen had returned to a normal size as compared to the CT scan 4 years ago (28b-2).-
